Eduardo Rodriguez has signed with the Detroit Tigers. 5 years $77-80 million.

Ive seen rumors that Correa to Tigers is a done deal… Also has a Tiger emoji on his Twitter bio now.

      Guess we’ll see.

if he has gone to the tigers they are going all out for 2022, so far the tigers are the ONLY team who has made moves. the trade for a catcher and now a starting pitcher who will be their ace.

Right and Ive also read they want to sign their SS before 12/1 CBA deadline.

I like the aggression from the Tiger's standpoint. If you're gonna spend money, do it while the kids are pre-arb. AL Central isn't anything special either. Getting Correa would be the biggest signing since Prince Fielder 10 years ago.

Story, Seager would be good fits as well.

Not a very exciting hire, I’d have rather brought back Omar Minaya. Supposedly the Angels owner is known for meddling and that may have been the driving force behind some of the bad contracts he gave out, but their farm hasn’t produced much outside of Trout. Hopefully he benefits from a change of scenery

So the Tigers will be 2022s big hype, poor result team?

Eppler seems like a 1 year stopgap measure until they hire Stearns away from the Brewers after his contract expires next year.

                              Eppler is a good hire.

Not really his fault every damn player kept getting hurt every damn year.

Think he definitely got scapegoated in Anaheim.
