Just recieved my PDF copy for the 2023 Forecaster. Looking forward to reading the first 40 pages and then quitting because I find the Mayberry system (or whatever the hell they call it) so stupid :P

5 teams:

1st out of 12, 1st out of 12, 1st out of 12, 5th out of 20 and 12th out of 15.

One of my first place finishes came down to today, I was behind by 0.5 and ended up winning by 0.5

Very gratifying because that was the most hostile league I have ever been in. It started with some vetoes (of course) and it snowballed to many email/chat messages and finally to some guy dumping his team (rage quitting?) and getting reported to Yahoo

The 5th out of 20 hurt because I'm pretty sure I lost the semifinal matchup due to a ****ing tactical error. Live and learn.

The 12th out of 15 is the most discouraging because that was my first league with the big boys (NFBC) and I could never get it together. Right back to the saddle next year.

Realmuto gets hurt tonight. My backup is Bo Naylor who ****ing sucks and I only drafted by a software mistake (sort of). Been meaning to drop Naylor, so JT's injury nudges me to finally pull the trigger.

Main guy that I'm looking at, Reese McGuire, is a platoon and faces a lefty tomorrow.

Next up is Carson Kelly, Tigers don't play tomorrow.

I pretty much hate everything about ESPN fantasy baseball. The format (points), the interface, the glitches/bugs, everything is garbage.

Semi-finals. Up 6-4, other guy down by 3 runs, 3 K's, 1 SV and 2 Wins. Has no starters going today (out of moves), but has Clase and Chapman as RP's.

I have 3 RP's (Erceg, Hodge and Mu~oz), plus Imanaga. But of course heavy ****ing rain expected today in Chicago.

Might get postponed, might get shortened, might start and then stopped with Imanaga not coming out when it resumes or manager might just play it conservatively taking him out after 5 or something.

I have 1 move left, if Imanaga were to be a full no-doubt go I might add a hitter to try to keep up in runs since my 2B (Otto Lopez is out today (****!)), with Alejandro Kirk out too. He has Carlos Santana and Yoshida who have a doubleheader today (of course).

Or I could add a RP (Uceta or Tinoco) to try to up the chances I get save.

Opponent can't tie me, he has to win outright since I'm the #1 seed.

So, I can add Uceta or Tinoco, Westburg to play 2B or thinking about adding Pallante.

Yesterday and earlier today I was thinking about using my 1 move left to add a SP for next week. But I can't have anything nice
