Pretty much have lost my H2H league unless the improbable happens. I need Michael Harris to go +3 runs over Mark Vientos, +1 SB over Vientos and a combination of Vientos killing the other team's average and/or Harris going ham on average.

Mets would most likely need to win Game 1 so the Braves feel obligated to play their starters on Game 2.

Help me Michael Harris Kenobi, you are my only hope!

              End of the year roundup:

              I played in 4 leagues -

              - ESPN Private H2H Points: the less said about this piece of **** of a league the better. Hate the format, the website, the settings, pretty much everything about it. Finished 7th of 20.

              - Yahoo Private Roto 5x5 ($): The adage of "you can't win your league on Draft Day, but can lose it" is true and it applies here.

First I violated one of, if not the most, basic rule in fantasy: I wasn't fully prepared for the draft. For some reason, that looked quite stupid not even two weeks later, I was obsessed with holding the draft before the Korea Series instead of ignoring it and draft as close as I could to the regular Opening Day like I have always done (not making that mistake again).

Then, in the middle of the draft my connection got messed up or I just wasn't paying ****ing attention and I auto-drafted mother****ing Bo Naylor as my 2nd catcher on a ONE (1) catcher league, think I blacked out after that

I do gotta say, I kept with it and grinded myself to a soul crushing and exhausting 6th out 19.

              - Yahoo Private H2H 5x5 ($): This was the "Jesus take the wheel", "Michael Harris Kenobi" league. Bummer, 2nd of 16. In my defense, I lost Ronald Acuña in this league and at least still finished 1st in the regular season standings.

              - $350 Rotowire Online Championship: After getting totally discourage on my first foray playing in a NFBC league (15 teams), I decided to scale back and do a 12 team league one after my two Yahoo Public leagues fell through.

Started super well, was crushing it, even making to the top 100 overall early on, later the helium went out but, outside of short intervals, never really was lower than 4th in my league.

Honed in, made some "the chips are down" moves in August, focused like a maniac in the final month and finished 1st of 12 ($1,400).

Thankfully the one league I won just so happens to be the most confidence boosting one since the NFBC is where the "pros" play. Winning a league with a $350 entry-fee definitely improved my morale on an otherwise uneven year.

Next year I plan to play on the first 3 leagues I listed (yes, including that piece of **** of ESPN. Once I win it I will drop it like a bad habit.) again. Also plan to do another 12 team RW Online 'ship league, but will move up to a $750 one. I will also again try another free NFBC 15 team league and if I do well then move to a money one the year after that.

What a pain in the *** is having to go around reminding people to pay their fee ($25) for a league they are supposedly interested in participating. Sigh.

We'd love to have you in OSNQ League. I know you had expressed interest a couple years ago. Haven't adopted FAAB but if you joined we'd have 10 (working on getting 12). Draft set for Tuesday 3/26 at 8:15pm ET.

And yeah, collecting is a pain. I almost prefer leagues where there's no money involved. No Chasing, no hurt feelings, etc.
