I can’t think of anyone that flopped as hard their first year in NY as Edwin Diaz and then went on to recover the way he has. 30 of his last 39 outs have been via strikeout

The Mariners are just not ready for primetime.

.. great moment in the game though.

Matt Brash is pretty much Nuke Laloosh right now, and Cal Raleigh absolutely Crash Davis'ed him, which was caught on the Ms broadcast. Just pure gold.

With the Gran Salami. Judge has 41. We aren't even in August yet.

This is one hell of a comeback for him in this city. No chance the Mets don’t pay up this winter.

Jays/Tigers with a 12pm local start time today and its not a back to back.

Despite a stretch where they went 1-9 this month, the Jays have a chance to finish the month 14-12.

August has them playing 18 games against teams 2 games above .500 or worse. Not catching the Yankees sadly, but a chance to really secure their playoff spot.

Seattle holding its breath, hoping Julios wrist isn't broken.

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Seems fitting that the Marlins have a pitcher with the last name Fishman pitching today

Berrios at the beginning of July had a 5.86 ERA on the season.

Since then he's allowed 12 runs in 36 innings for an ERA of 3.00.

Something about road games for him. His road ERA is 7.15 in 10 games. His home ERA is 3.23 in 11 games.
