Wish we had a guy who hit .270 with an over .700 OPS in a brief major league stint in the minors currently.

And too bad we didn’t sign a catcher this offseason to replace Yadi behind the dish who could hit instead of being forced to start Andrew Knizner who’s hitting a buck seventy (.170)

I swear our management from front office to field level has lost their damn minds!

Cardinals brass sounds about as dumb as the Yankees brass.

Jays are playing .400 baseball vs the ALE so far and almost .700 baseball vs the rest of the league.

Sounds about right. They'll definitely be glad for this new schedule. Projected out over 162 games, that's a difference of about 5 wins vs this same win% under the old schedule format.

If the season ended today, my preseason prediction of the top non playoff team finishing better than the AL Central winner would be right.

Our Blue Jays head into Sunday's games in four place in the AL East but tied for the sixth best overall record in baseball.

Other weird notes: 50 per cent of Kansas City's home wins have come against the Blue Jays. Of course, the Royals are just 2-16 at home. 40 per cent of the Cardinals home wins have come against the Blue Jays. They're just 5-13 at home.

Blue Jays haven't played the Rays in almost a month but still are responsible for a quarter of the Rays losses (and half their road losses).

On a related note, I wonder which is more likely, Rays getting most wins in MLB history (they're projected for 128 right now, will surely not finish as good as they're projected now, but 116 is the record...), or As/Royals getting fewest wins in 162 game season (projected for 38 wins, the fewest in a 162 game season is 43)

The MLB should tweak the playoff format slightly. Give home field to the best teams regardless who wins the division.

That's Darth Bader to you. Oh and it's about time Rizzo got a smash.

My god even Hicks is getting in on the action. His OPS + is probably improved to -4.[emoji38]

Braves win 3-2 in 12…that was one of the best games I can recall in a while. The defense by both teams was incredible, especially in extras.

Orioles are a legit good team…I’m impressed.
