Astros with 3 mound visits this inning with the same pitcher.

        Manfred must be hating this.

I’ve gone full blown Randy Quaid in Major League 2 on the Mets, they’re going to blow this

It's a long season and long way to go, but what a series for the Braves and what a backbreaker for the Mets.

Jays now move to 30-13 in games outside the AL East. That's a .700 win%!

What an entertaining Braves game. Not just the game itself, but you had John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Chipper Jones, and Jeff Francoeur calling the game. They lacked in the play-by-play department, but made up everywhere else (including old highlights).

I usually always watch the Mets feed because I think that is the best booth in baseball; last night I watched the Braves feed because of the reunion in the booth. At first I was annoyed because they clearly weren’t “calling” the game, but I quickly began enjoying all the back and forth and flashback highlights.

Blue Jays have designated for assignment Anthony Bass before tonight's Pride celebrations.

Hours before he was scheduled to be part of the first pitch

Jays claim its a "baseball move", meanwhile they did so today of all days, hours before this game, and the guy they called up isn't even pitching today.

I think when they woke up this morning to the ESPN story today in which he said he didn't think his comments were hateful, that was the final straw for them.

They're not claiming it's a total baseball move. Atkins admitted Bass has become in his words "a distraction".

I'm not going to go down the road of talking politics, but the way what he actually did is being framed by the media is so damn disingenuous and bizarre. The words "hate" and "hateful" get thrown around so damn easily. And I'm not even on his side on the whole thing, whatever that even means anymore.

It's only hate if you say something they don't like. "Then it's hate"

You know things are going bad when Tommy Pham is batting third on a team with a $300 million payroll
