    Jays win!!!!

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come this season. They beat the Twins 5-2.

Nice to see Chacin and Rios do well. I'm a little bit concerned Rios was DH'ing because he has soreness in his shoulder. Hinske got a hit in his first AB.

It looks like Quiroz will make the club as the backup to Zaun because Myers isn't 100%.

For the Twins side, Mays finally pitched after he had TJ surgery.

Jamie Campbell has been named the new pbp guy for the Jays on Sportsnet. No word on who the color guy is. I wanted Shulman to come back but I knew that wasn't going to happen.

        Exactly

The Pirates tied the Yankees yesterday, and they're still going to lose a ton of games. Plus it's still a little to early in Spring Training to start making big player evaluations.

But it sure is nice to see some baseball.

The Tigers were 7-21 in spring training in 1984. They started 35-5 in the regular season and won the World Series.

Spring training wins/losses don't matter in other words.

But back to the Jays, it is awesome to see how "Babe" Gross is crushing the ball .. a homer in each of the last four games. He was told before spring training that it'd be tough for him to make the big club, but if he keeps this up, how can they not bring him north?

The Jays/Yankees game is on Sportsnet Thursday night in case people in Canada didn't know.

If the AL East were just the Jays and the Rays then Toronto would be prohibitive favorites for the division
I creating Ryan Langarhans and put him in the braves roster, but not only my entire braves roster changed but other teams roster changed too. Why is that. Now if the braves or other teams trade or sign players, there will be no point for chsnging it. If u don't have online like me, u be sad too.

One of the weekend matchups vs. the Twins is going to be shown on Sportsnet Ontario.

Gross leagues the league in dingers right now. But he's blocked by Cat and Johnson. He has a habit of being a slow starter and showed that last season only hitting .209 once he got called up. I personally wouldn't have traded for Hillenbrand and just moved Cat to DH. Gross is at a age where it's time to find out if he's big league material or not. Barring any major injuries happening to the OF, I don't know if Gross will get enough AB's to show he can do.

Actually you'd be wrong there. The Jays have an ATROCIOUS record against the Rays especially in Tampa. I don't know what it is about Tampa but the Jays just suck against them.

I'm also impressed by Gross. I think if he keeps this up he'll HAVE to get a spot on the 25 man roster. I like how the organization is running things so far this year. They're neither high nor low about things. I don't think they'll surprise people but I do think they'll be better then some ppl give them credit for.
