Dear Barry:

Can we just get you to admit publicly that you DID (and likely still do) use steroids? Actually, you could probably save face by admitting that you CHEATED the game of Major League Baseball. Can we just get you to say that you agree to disagree with our theory that you are a compulsive liar, poor role model for children, poor example of playing the game the way it was supposed to be played, that you are an outright cheater who does NOT deserve to make the Hall of Fame, becuase without the cheating you'd probably be nearing 500 HR's right now (if not less)? Please let us know, Barry!

brudjazz, just one question, if you are Barry Bonds, why in the world would you confess to a public that hasn't liked him for 10 years? Seriously, you aren't in any trouble at all, there is no pending litigation for anything you've done, and you want him to admit to something. Do you see how little sense this makes from Barry's side? Now you can vilify him all you want and say he's a cheater (I still don't get how this would prevent him from being in the HOF, when Gaylord Perry's in there), but does it really mean anything?

or, you both can provide substantial evidence that supports your theories, and stop bashing the man and enjoy hsi great and wonderful works in the batters box.

i wont lie, the guy is a a**hole, but you cannot lie to yourself abut his skills as a player.

I don't understand why people stilll give him the benifit of the doubt when he has alredy admited to a grand jury that he did take steriods, albeit unknowingly.

Because he is the greatest overall baseball player of all time. And guys, don't even get into the "Babe Ruth was a 100 win pitcher" crap... as most of those guys ALSO say that the Wins stat is the most overrated pitching statistic.
