This strikes me as so bizarre, I have trouble believing he's going to leave the state of California. The biggest FA of all time, who has his pick of MLB's superpowers, out of nowhere just chooses the Blue Jays, who could just as easily win the World Series or finish 4th in the AL East?

I believe the Blue Jay's are being used a bit here.

Ohtani is said to be in Toronto within the next half hour, though. Private jet from Santa Ana to Toronto, and those are a very rare flight, apparently.

Morosi made a good point that once Ohtani's decision comes, the rest of the process could move slowly....probably gonna be some real thorough medical reviews when the team is gonna hand out $500-600M

What an upset for the Blue Jays (if true).


Yankees nowhere to be found, this are the ones that sting the most because they just cost money and, if reports are to be believed, Yankees were never even close.
