Braves lose in extras...3 pitiful at bats in the 10th. In a tie game, Braves had bases loaded with nobody out...Michael Harris, Chadwick Tromp, and Jarred Kelenic all put up horrendous at bats that failed to score/move anyone up. Oh well...can't win them all, but that's a game that should have been won.

The team needs a major shakeup. New hitting coach should've happened ages ago, and you NEED to change around the batting order.

Somehow we couldn't hit against Oakland at times and now we are scoring plenty of runs and can't pitch now smh.

Braves/Guardians was an entertaining series; Guardians absolutely impressed me…that lineup is annoying and just pecks you to death. They had more 31 mph infield hits in a weekend than I think I’ve seen all year.

                  Tyler O’Neill…9 HR…and 11 RBI? Don’t see that often…

Stanton has turned into one of the worst base runners…a single to right and you get thrown out at 2nd? Terrible read…

Gibson has a nice line himself, but is in line for the loss. 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 9 K

Potentially joining the Miles Mikolas school of hard-luck losers.

Edit: He's off the hook as the Cards tie in the 9th off another former Cardinal Shelby Miller. And a sac fly gives the Redbirds the lead.

couple fun facts from the Tigers/Cards doubleheader

Flaherty tied the AL record by striking out the first 7 batters of the game, ended up with 14 Ks and 0 runs allowed... tigers lost anyway

game two, Wenceel Perez, top Tigers international signing from 8 years ago is finally getting a chance even though he's been held back by the yips, but he's the only healthy guy left on the 40 man who can play multiple positions, yips or not

so anyway, he's the first Tiger since '96 to hit a HR from both sides of the plate in his first career 50 PAs, then he hit another to become the first Tiger since V Mart six years ago to hit a HR from both sides of the plate in the same game

That's a great start for him! not counting on him to keep it up, but hey, he'll always have that
