Unless I miss something Uribe seems like a punk, should get a decent suspension to cut this out right away in his young career.

Just saw the Trout news...watching greatness be devastated by injuries over the last 5 years is maddening. He hasn't played a full season since 2016 and the sad thing is that even when he plays now, he's not what he was...his average is .220 this year and he's turned into a low average power hitter at this point. In fact, this season his career average has dipped below .300 and I doubt we'll ever see it above that line again. I always love a good 300/400/500 career out of a player..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. Red Sox lead the Majors in starter ERA, shutout wins, and...errors.
Therefore we're resting comfortably in 3rd place.Boston Red Sox

All stemming from his slow watch of his HR ball plus being plunked by Peralta.
The Brewers have been in the graces, for better or worse of the umps for 3 straight games.Last edited by roadman; 05-02-2024, 09:31 AM.Comment

Got a chance to even things up in Baltimore today. Need the offense to figure it out. Been an incredibly low scoring series in general. Pitching has been elite on both sides. Baltimore is a huge threat this year. No doubt about it.Last edited by DamnYanks2; 05-02-2024, 09:09 AM.Comment

I don't disagree that Uribe should get a suspension, I think it would have been a better outcome if Siri didn't start jawing.

Uribe 6 games, Peralta 5, Siri 2 from the appeal and Murphy 2 games. Uribe and Peralta are appealing.Comment

I heard a lot of uproar about the end of Mets/Cubs, but I went and watched it and I think they actually got it right. Blocking the plate can’t be called…the plate was open, and I don’t think Alonso’s hand got back down before the tag. If he’s been called safe, I think the call would stay safe…

Ya, the Mets broadcast (best in the biz, IMO) was all over that. They highlighted that what the Cubs’ catcher did was brilliant and well within the rules.
