Ok, so perhaps some OS Braves fan can illuminate me on this subject, why in the world has Riley not played in 12 straight games, but has not been placed in the IL?

After the Pirates beat the Braves the first two games of the series, just imagine if they could have closed out two games with 4-5 run leads in the 8th against the Giants.

Alonso, Lindor, Mcneil, Nimmo, about 8 other players- BUMS

The Billy Eppler hire is up there with the Seaver trade as one of the worst moves this franchise ever made. He set this team so far back in his two years with these awful contracts he gave to guys like Nimmo and McNeil. I’m totally on board with letting Alonso walk

I think they should have put him on the IL retrospectively. When he first got hurt (intercostal hurt on a swing), it was said he’d be back in 3-4 days. Then it was a week. Now a full two weeks later he’s still out…

Do we miss him? Absolutely - but he wasn’t hitting much anyway. The entire offense outside of Marcel Ozuna has been MIA…no idea what’s wrong, but after last year it’s like watching a dead ball offense.

Alonso sure he can hit the ball a long way. But he sucks in the clutch, sucks in the field, makes bone head decisions all day. I am so spent on this team its killing me honestly

I feel like you guys will get hot and as we have learned over the years just get in the playoffs and see what happens. braves offense is stacked and will heat up. No way Acuna gonna hit .250 with a ops of 700 all season

I don’t think Acuna will be doing anything else this year…he just fell down on the bases with a no contact injury and it didn’t look good.

The report says “left knee soreness”, but they won’t know anything until they get an MRI tomorrow. The hope is it’s a strain like he had back in 2018…
