Perfect capper to a forgettable season for Julio. (inexcusable gaffe @ 3rd as the tying run in the 10th, if you haven't seen it)

Love Dan Wilson. Big, big fan. One of the great guys in this teams less than illustrious history.. he needs to take hostages on this one. 2 nights in a row with this nonsense. Their season was on the line.

.. why do I do this to myself? Its the same damn thing every year with this team.

Ohtani is having a good week at the plate today, 6 for 6, 3 HRs, 10 RBIs and two stolen bases

Hate that his 50th came against a position player…but it still counts.

Just on a different level as a player. One of the all time greats. This is without pitching this year too.

Well, that's another MVP for Ohtani.

A once 9-3 lead has gotten a little too close for my comfort

                  Stolen from Twitter:

Since RBI became official in 1920, only one MLB player has had, over the course of his entire career (same game or not),

                  a game with 10+ RBI
                  a game with 6+ hits
                  a game with 5+ XBH
                  a game with 3+ HR
                  a game with 2+ SB

That one player is Shohei Ohtani. He did all of it today.

The Cardinals are going to win enough in the final week(s) for Marmol to keep his job.

I was thinking about that countryboy, my fantasy teams (not that anyone cares about them beside me of course) are littered with Cards pitcher for the last two weeks

Lynn, Fedde, Gibson and Pallante. I need them to do well, sorry :P

Ya…not sure why MLB sent me the highlight of his 51st and talked about the 50/50 club. I saw the whole thing later and realized that.

Either every pitcher hates Leo Jimenez or he crowds the plate a lot, or both.

He's been hit by ptiches 16 times this season, good for 8th in the MLB despite playing less than half the amount of games as those above him.

If he had even 400PA he'd be projected for 33HBP (Arozarena leads the league with 22HBP in over 600PA for reference)

Braves can’t beat the teams they’re supposed to beat.
