I know what you mean, but given it being in the World Series and only giving up one hit against that Yankees lineup, that's pretty impeccable.

Obviously a part of it is who the person is and what the stage it's on, as well.

Moving on is crazy talk. But the honeymoon phase is gonna be over if he doesn't deliver. This is where it matters as a Yankee. He could hit 150 HR's during the regular season and if he doesn't perform in the World Series then just doesn't matter.

He's the captain and Soto Stanton and Torres have out performed him. He's gotta show up. This is far from over. But Yankees aren't winning anything without him getting some big hits.
