This is the same guy that has a whopping 4 CAREER HR's in 1351 AB's.

I wonder if Juan Pierre and David Eckstein are also on the juice.

I betcha MLB rigged the test results to show Congress how they're really cracking down on Roids. Sanchez probably got paid under the table to be the sheep.

Surprising to say the least. I guess you could look at it this way - maybe if he didn't take steroids he never would've made the Majors. Just making the Majors is a major upgrade in money for lower draft pick players.

I don't think his low HR total is very telling in regards to steroids. The biggest advantage steroids give a player (from what I've read) is that at the end of a season when many players are wearing down, a steroid player doesn't feel that. A steroid player is still going strong.

There was an ESPN insider piece a few days ago about Chad Motalla (sp?) and he said staying clean probably costed him millions of dollars. He's pretty much a career minor leaguer.

For some that only look at the short term, the pay off is too great not to take roids.

The extra "push" you get can mean the difference between staying on a major league roster or AAA/AA team.
