    thats completley different.

    They have the rules about fan interference along the field, they also have seperate rules for fans THROWING things onto the field of play.

              Nah any crew with Chuck Merriweather (sp) is the worst crew in baseball. Merriweather is the most inconsistent umpire in baseball barnone. Especially when he's behind the plate.

                Not at all, thats not why I think that. The fan was a part of the play, weather he touches the ball, or the fielder.

                              Him getting brushed up on his face, yes. I would consider that disrupting the play. And that home run by Jeter a few years back, should have been reversed. That was a huge mistake, keep compairing apples and oranges.
