Friggin' Beckett. When he gets into trouble he turns into a freakin meathead and tries to gas everyone. Any good major league hitter can turn on a belt high fastball when they know its coming, no matter how hard it is.

What a little bed sh*tting son of a bitch.

Edit: Has Beckett really had a dominating outing vs. a truly good opponent at all this year?

Not a bad start to the 6th...

          3 hits on 3 pitches

...guess I couldn't type "pinch hit for Huckaby" quick enough

Who didn't see that double play coming? Thankfully Youk somewhat salvaged that inning with the 2-out RBI single.

To answer your question, no. The way he's pitched this year he'll be useless in the playoffs.

I believe Josh is putting his best foot forward so he won't have to be useless there. Just the regular season.

Great work by Hansen. If he can put it together in these final few weeks.... Wheewww.

Plus Delcarmen was real good again last night.

Let's see if we have any 9th inning heroics tonight... 3-4-5 coming up

and that 5 is Mirabelli...so that might as well be 3-4-9

ewww, you're right... I know Lowell is sore, but you gotta plan a little better than that.

Unless Lowell asked out of the game, that was the stupidest substitution I've ever seen. Terrible loss, bad homestand, as the Sox go 3-4. Two games back in the loss column.
