Not that, Mets are on a roll right now, and Braves keep losing. I really don't see a way to get back into it. Although if it works like a jinx, that's cool too.

Braves?!?!
Everyone knew only the Phillies could make a run at the Mets.

I hope we can trim their lead to 2 or 3 before our 4 games with them next week.

Cmon, we all know the Mets are winning in the bandbox. The Mets beat up on the Phillies almost as much as the Braves beat up on the Mets.

Ha....I was only kidding around....
It seems like no team really wants to take the division for sure this year. We let you guys(Braves and Phils) hang around and you guys(Braves and Phils) let us keep the slim lead.
Now all we need is that AL fanboy(who predicted the dominating AL would wipe up the floor with the NL contestant in the WS

.....we see how that worked out against our WEAKEST team:wink

to come in here telling us how the NL EAST sucks and we have no chance anyway.

Mota has to go. Bring back up Smith, he had some promise. I'd go after Piazza too. I'm sure he wouldn't mind coming back to the Mets and playing 2-3 days a week(If Castro is healthy, if not then he'll play more) and coming off the bench. In the WS, he could then be our DH.

Hey, everyone according to Steve Phillips the Phillies will take over the divison this week. This is because we lost Easley, and we have to face Peavy and Young. LOL. I hate Phillips!

Moises Alou really adds so much to the lineup. The real test is this upcoming week because the Mets are no longer playing crappy teams. If the hot lineup continues, I'll feel very good about this team. Still have to cut Mota and bring Smith back up.
