I retract my earlier statement. we are at negative one reliable arm at this point.

Why didn't Wagner pitch tonight? Did he see too much action in the Nats series?

Supposedly hurt, but if his arm isn't dangling off, it's pathetic he didn't pitch in this game.

still 1.5 up. Do you really think the Phils will keep winning and the MEts will keep losing?

You had to think the game was lost when Sosa took the mound in the 10th. He's awful.

I get the same feeling when I see anyone not named JC Romero take the mound from the Phillies bullpen.

Here in NYC(especially in the FD) that means a guy who's been through the war and it shows.
I'm guessing it means something different on Broad Street.

I guess I just meant you were in a bad mood because your team is trying hard to choke away their season.

                            I apologize for my vagueness.

i agree and what kind of manager finds out in the 7th inning his closer is "not available" after that and his demeanor in the post game press conference I think this dude needs to go back to the yankees bench. when the dude finally has to strt being a manager the team falls apart. this is going to be an issue unless we buy a campionship next year cause this guy isnt going to out coach anyone. I mean hes got rookies outside their right mind doing as they please. taking 3rd, trying to beat up umpires, veterans throwing helmets and bats. its all good when we are winning and he doesnt have to manage anyone when everyone is hitting HR's and doing their newest handshakes but when the HR's and handshakes stop your left with a team out of control and without leadership. that shouldnt be the case. willie needs to hit the road.

It's kind of amazing that two managers as bad as Willie Randolph and Charlie Manuel are fighting over a playoff berth.
