Cmon Lasto is a good guy, he just got way over-excited last year. I'm very happy they didn't trade him.

Can't really say I've even remotely worried about them not winning the division. They pretty much only play the Marlins and Nationals for the rest of the year.

this team is no way the same as last year.. last year, they had HEART.. this year, they just sleep walk

you know ive been a mets fan since i was a kid i dont really remember the 86 or 88 awsome mets teams, basically most of the time we have sucked since i have been alive. the thing is, is that ive nver,ever had a problem watching every game. even through the mo vaughn, steve phillips under acheiving era i was pumped watching every game, waiting for that 20 game win streak to happen. last year was heaven. this year I am pretty sure we will make the playoffs,etc but the thing is- I HATE THIS TEAM. I dont know what it is or who it is but I dont even like watching the games. there is like something about this team that un settles me or something,idk. its pretty much the same as last year but there just like something with these bunch of guys that turns me off.

i think part of it has been the demeanor of people like delgado who dont do anything for 6 months and strike out 3 times in a game andare like oh well whatever. willie seems to be oblivious to who is goo and who is not. i mean how many times am i like please god not this guy again and then 3 seconds later my worst fears come true. I swear im happy when its an off day cause I wont feel obligated to watch them or check the scores, mayvbe its cause im pe occupied with other things like football,fantasy,etc but i dont feel compelled to watch this team.

also am I the only one not looking forward to us clinching the division because of the awckwardness of watching them celebrate. I really dont want to watch these guys run around the field with cigars and champagne,etc i dont feel like they deserve it or something. its like we win cause everyone else is worse than us. does that allow for a huge celebration?

idk as a mets fan I hope we win the division and wake up during the playoffs but at the same time its like enough already. they lose anytime they are challenged and they blow up on teams that should be in the minor leagues its like either lose and go home cause you dont want it enough or go out handle business and get the ring. go earn the big peice of chicken for crying out loud.

Stranger things have happened... The Cardinals won, what, 83, 84 games last year, and went on to win the whole thing. I'm keeping hope alive... It's hard, especially after performances like last night, but I'm keeping the faith.
