Tell it! FS, you would think in this day and age..men...especailly so-called 'grown' men would exhibit some common sense and act like they know. But fat chance. All of these know-nothings run with the B.S. some talking head on radio, TV or in the newspapers spouts, and they believe this crap!

Anyone in the Tri-State Area get to watch SNY for the Ulti-Met Classics?

They've been playing the last three games of the 2006 NLDS of the Mets vs. Dodgers. I'm lovin' it. Hope you Mets fans get to soak it in too...wow, that team was full of sparks and life!!!

Bedard is out there... but he obviously wouldn't fit in with Los Mets.

I do not think that Angelos will trade Bedard. Why should he? He is a young left pitcher and I think is under contract for a few more years. Any trade with Baltimore is dangerous because Angelos could veto it for no good reason. Many reports say that the Mets might be the front runner for Santana but I will not believe any of them until he is traded and signs a new long term deal. I am for any deal that we do not trade Reyes, Wright, or Martinez in.

more interesting news -- according to "sources", the Mets are the frontrunners in a deal to get Santana.. the package would not have to include both Gomez and Martinez (but Martinez would be going) and that Ryan Church would be included in the deal


-- so if that happens, it looks like Milledge was a "piece" of the deal

I guess it couldn't hurt....I mean the guy just sucks up innings......and that is a good safeguard against one of the other pitchers going down.
Plus, wasn't he also a good hitter for a pitcher?

I would love to have Santana but I don't want to give them Martinez. I'd give them some combination that doesn't include him.

I say it's about time we open a 2008 team forum?
