I just looked at the pitching assignments against the Padres.

      I didn't see Peavy's name.

This series just got a bit easier.

Brewers up 2-1 in the third.

        Braun with all 3 rbi's.

Cubs losing 5-4 in the 6th.

These games are far from over.

I'm not trying to start anything, but I'm watching the Cards/Brewers here in Champaign... wow, Brewers fans need to get a little more excited. Miller Park seems dead, but maybe its the Cardinals broadcast muting the crowd ambience or something.

Kinda interesting to see the Cards throw at Fielder, and then the Crew did NOT answer back when they easily could have...

It's ok, Dee, it's not like the Brewers are a weak team.j/k.

Anyway, Brewer fans haven't had much to cheer about in the past 25 years. Cub fans are loyal if they up by 2 or down by 22.

Well, I don't think there is many Brewer fans around being a small market team. Heck, there are Cub fans all across the US, but I don't think a small market team will ever have a national audience.

Oh I know that, I just also know I've been to Miller Park, and know Brewer fans can be quite loud when the Cubs are in town and things are going well for the home team. Needless to say I'm a little surprised to see them so lax during a crucial stretch.

I hear ya, but it's all those darn Cub fans making noise, since most of the stadium is filled with Cub fans.

Even when the Brewers are up 8-0 in the 2nd and Zambrano is pulled after 1 2/3 in his worst career start?

                        Well, probably not.

That's probably when Brewer fans were loud and Cub fans sat back. Cub fans are much nicer than Sox fans.

That's what County Stadium used to attract. I'll never forget those days.

If I heard the nanana song one more time, I'd throw up.

Yeah Id agree that Cub fans are nicer than the Sox fans, I went to an ex. game when the Crew was facing the sox...Most annoying fans ever...The Cubs fans really arent annoying, they are just kinda overwelming, when I go to a Brewer game, I expect to be sitting with a bunch of Brewer fans and not Cub fans...

The Padres without Mike Cameron and Milton Bradley.

Of course, the Cubbies squeak by without Jr and Dunn.

5 fricken errors won't win many games.

I think they are over anxious and pressing.

Maybe next year will be their year.

It was cool, on the radio I heard the Brewers owner gave every customer a $10 gift for the concession stands for 2008.
