Re: "Ned's October" 2007 Brewers Discussion

I am a huge Reds fan so I have watched the Brewers the last couple of nights and all I can say is Bill Hall is the worst CF I have ever seen! I know he is a converted infielder but he is really bad in CF. He gets terrrible breaks on the ball and takes the wrong route to the ball almost everytime. Not to mention he just flat out dropped a couple of balls.
The Reds TV and Radio announcers have been making fun of him the last couple of days.

I have seen some of his gaffes as well.

CF is one of the hardest positions besides SS and catcher.

Two years ago, everyone was over Rickie Weeks for his errors at 2B. Now, you don't hear about Weeks.

Hopefully, the same will happen with Hall. It's a huge adjustment.

One thing I know about Bill Hall is that he gives 150 percent every time he steps foot on the field...He will be just fine, he's just gotta work out the kinks.

I am not for sure he will ever work out in CF, just because you give 100% every play doesnt mean you will be a good CFer. He just doesnt look like he has a clue out there, it is just everything with him. Dropped balls, bad routes to fly balls, bad throws, miss playing the balls that him the wall. I really think he will be moved by the end of the year.

            Brew Crew still in first.

            Coco is a beast.

Hall will stay in CF. He's never been an outfielder before and each ballpark is different. He will adjust and become a good CF, he has the tools for it.

I totally agree with ya on Hall being a good CF, when I play HS baseball games I can tell the field has to do with how I play sometimes. He will soon get used to Miller but it will take till midseason to get used to the away parks.

What a great comeback victory last night against the Cubbies. Down 4 to 0 and win 5-4 in 12.

                  The bullpen was aces throughout.

Yeah, having a former started in the pen in Villanueava is a big boon for the Crew.

Also, my god, if Prince hits that on a line, that is in the next state.
