Not surprising, and I believe the cold weather is supposed to hold through the week.

Had to be moved though. They just showed a pic of the Jake during the Mets game, looked like it was under about 2 feet of snow.

We are under about two feet of snow, but I'm still pissed. I go to every Angels game when they are in town (usually just one three game set per year) because Vlad is my favorite player. Now I won't get to see him at all this year. This really sucks. They should have just played the damn games in Anaheim and then played the games scheduled for there later this year here in Cleveland. That would make a lot more sense. The same with the Seattle situation. Are we ever going to get a game here?

I read the reasons they didn't swap, is because the games in Anaheim have sold about 40,000 tickets per game. Logistically that's causes a lot of problems. Also the Angels are due to leave for Boston right after the last game in Cleveland. Much more difficult to do from Anaheim.

you would think just swapping for make more sense, but when you sale out nearly every home game it makes it next to impossible. Now I also heard from Buster Olney is that there is talks for next yr or in the future that all opening games for the cold weather teams...will start the season on the road so they don't run into weather conflicts like the Indians.

I don't understand the move to Milwaukee either. Why not play the upcoming series in Anaheim, and then move the 3 game set the teams have next month to Cleveland?

Because the following day or something like that Angels have to head to Boston and they feel it will be to much of a pain to fly from Anaheim directly after the game to catch a flight to get to Boston.

That's the same thing I suggested a few posts up... it still doesn't make sense why they can't do that.

$10 tickets for like every seat, even though it was put out to the public the day before the game you would think that they would still have a sale out, but only managed 4,000 fans and something like 14,000 fans for the next 2 games. What a shame.

Again. It's because the Angels basically sell out a large portion of their games, including the Cleveland series. Logistically it's next to impossible to switch the series.

Escobar not surprising, good news about Weaver and Colon will be back on the DL in a month.

Now, I can't believe that the Angels started off to there best start in a couple yrs and now they are sitting with a record of 6-5 are you kidding me?

Remember the Dodgers in 2005 with their 12-2 start?

It doesn't say much I know, but I don't get optimistic about hot starts.
