Some people I work with wonder how a Red Sox superfan like me always claims to hate the Yankees/Red Sox games. Well, last night and the Sunday night game are perfect examples why when the game is hitting the 3 hour mark before the 5th inning is even over.

Sox up 5-0 tonight after 3. Manny is just killing Mussina so far this year. His last 4 at-bats against him have gone: HR, RBI 2B, HR, HR. And you know Mussina has really lost something when Varitek has two hits off of him. He's out of the game, Albaladejo is in.

I've realized lately I hate Julio Lugo. How far into the season do we go before we consider him a total bust (if we haven't already)? He posted a negative VORP last year and so far this year he's committed 6 of the team's 9 errors while failing to do anything of merit at the plate. He was signed to be an offensive upgrade over the likes of Alex Gonzalez but he has barely hit enough to keep Cora on the bench. Unfortunately he's owed too much money for the Sox to do anything about him right now.

The Sox are just crushing the Rangers right now, 9-1 in the fourth. Pedroia just knocked his first out of the park this season. Looking like a long night for the Rangers pitching staff.

Another come from behind win by the Red Sox tonight as this team just refuses to lose right now. Since my Lugo rant he's actually played fairly well. We'll see how long that continues...

Shhhh, don't mention it and maybe he'll keep hitting.....

Another great game tonight all around, and especially from Jacoby. 2 HR's and a bunt hit that lead to the winning run. Just trade Coco, I don't care what we get for him, cause Jacoby needs to be playing everyday.

I dont see another team in MLB that comes close to our Sox. Just dominating right now. After watching last nights game, which I thought would be a let down game after winning 5 in a row, we still managed to come back and win it.
