Forgot about him, that's because Bobby never uses him enough or in the right spots. He hasn't been great but definitely better than the rest.

I bet GM Wren & Bobby are being tempted to bring Hanson from AAA to the bullpen.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Watching this team has been so painful....

Let's hope for a turn around.

          Boyer has been DFA'ed!!

According to Dave O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the Braves have designated Blaine Boyer for assignment. You can find O'Brien's update …

We got shutout again today. Final score 10-0. Of course it doesn't help when our starting lineup looks like a minor league team on paper. When we have to start both Infante and Prado we aren't going to score any runs especially considering this team isn't a big offensive threat to begin with. Those two guys are utility players and nothing more. They shouldn't be starting games on a regular basis. And it all comes back to Chipper, the guy is pissing me off. He needs to suck it up play. I mean he has missed 3 or 4 games in a row now because he is nursing a bruised thumb. That's nothing, I would understand if his oblique/hamstring/foot was bothering him but it's only a bruise.

It depends on where the bruise is and if its a bone bruise or not. Not going to help much if you cant swing the bat.

BC again left the starter in too long because he knows the bullpen sucks, but won't do anything about it.

At least we won today...I never thought I'd say this in 2009, but as a Braves fan living in San Diego, at least I have the Padres to watch.

We won like last year - the HR. On a positive note, Javy pitched well; we were up by 10 runs so I would've liked to see Javy trot out one more inning to give some more relief to the pen but a win's a win.

I think Bobby wanted to get the bullpen was good work in.

Guess who played in the game ... Chipper. When he plays, we win.

Exactly, that's why I think he should be playing more often. As long as he can swing the bat and field his position he should be in the lineup. His presence alone makes everyone else better regardless of what he does at the plate.

How did we get a AAA player for him? Are the Cardinals stupid.

I'll be John Brown; Frank Wren is a sly son-of-a-gun...
