It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine. -

Looks like opposing teams aren't the only ones he's giving up hits to.
Bennett is an idiot. LOLComment

Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves
It's nice to see us scoring runs but the bullpen has been bad lately. They better get things turned around quick with the Red Sox coming to town tonight. What sucks is that the Phillies keep losing and we can't pick up any ground, but the Mets and Marlins keep moving up.Comment

Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves
Yeah you're right about the bullpen. When Hudson comes back in August I hope we use him in the bullpen because that's where we need the most help. Maybe we can get a trade that can further strengthen it as well. The starters are fine, except for Lowe of late. For some reason his sinker isn't dropping. The way the NL East is this year, I like our chances. We have to play better and quit underachieving.Comment

Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves
The bullpen hasn't been that bad overall. What they are is terrible when we are behind. Just look at the series with NY, in the 2 games the Braves were behind, they were terrible and couldn't hold them to allow the offense to complete the comeback. In the game where the Braves won, they were great. Other than Bennett, they have been better than the numbers show. Its just that they all have given up large numbers when behind a few runs.
As far as the division, I'm torn. Its very possible to win it, its also possible to be out 10+. Either way, I want them to be consistent. I hate this back and forth crap because I know they can be a lot better.Last edited by p_rushing; 06-26-2009, 04:18 PM.Comment

I dont know, I'm starting to believe that the braves are playing exactly like the team that they truly are. As fans, we keep waiting for them to break out of it, but I have a bad feeling that they are probably playing about as good as they are gonna get.Comment

Sadly, yes...I'm certainly disappointed in their play but I didn't expect them to win the division.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves
I'm disappointed with the latest trade rumor news. Apparently there is a deal on the table with the Brewers, offering Frenchy and Vazquez for Hart & a prospect. I just hate the thought of trading our only power pitcher, especially considering he's leading the NL in K's and should have 8 or 9 wins at this point if our bullpen and offense cooperated for him.Comment
