    Re: 2009 Atlanta Braves

Vazquez got a win and a win with the Braves scoring <= 3 runs, which usually has been a loss

Move to 4 games out and maybe get closer to Florida if they lose.

Low and behold as Mac finally delivers with 2 2-out RBI hits - his RBIs are the sole reason we won. Maybe I should call people out more often.

Two Cubbie miscues lead to two ATL insurance runs in the ninth. Soriano nails down the save and a Braves series win.

Both Heyward and Freeman are coming along nicely...it's really tough to hit @ Class-A Myrtle Beach as there's a wind that comes in from the ocean that hits the batter in the face but both of them hit nearly .300 with about 10 HRs each before they recently got called up to 2A-Mississippi.

I wonder what kind of deal it would take to get Luke Scott from the Orioles? Looks like Baltimore would be willing to let him go, and he's batting .303 with 17 homeruns. He would be a nice fit in RF and is only making 2.8 million per year. That's a lot of value for the price, based on some of the other salaries of guys that are available.

It probably wouldn't take much to get Scott. Maybe Medlen, and Diory Hernandez?
Heck, we could give away Francoeur also.

No more leftys...we need a RH hitter who hits for power to between Chipper & Mac. Don't forget that Infante should be coming back soon - I would expect he'd be the starter in RF.

DAMMIT MIKE GONZALEZ! ONCE AGAIN HE FINDS A WAY TO SNATCH DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY OR AT LEAST A CHANCE AT IT. He needs to go. He's trying to overthrow everything and his control sucks. I'm so tired of watching him continuously put runners on base in close games. I think he needs one of those DL stints that Norton and Johnson took.

Wow. Frenchy gone to Mets for Ryan Church.

I'm really at a loss right now. I don't know what to say.

Doesn't make much sense for either team. That's all the Braves need is another left handed hitter.

Francouer was one of my favorites even though he has struggled. Just really liked the guy. But I saw this coming.

Should be an interesting series against the Mets after the break.

I already miss Frenchy. Mow I'm going to watch him become a phenom in New York, while Ryan Church struggles in Atlanta.
