Looks like Huddy will be getting 3-year deal.

The official website of the Atlanta Braves with the most up-to-date information on news, tickets, schedule, stadium, roster, rumors, scores, and stats.

I'm hoping we get rid of Lowe instead of Vasquez.

Nobody will take his salary, especially for the performance he showed last year. Javy was a rock and I hope Wren keeps him - unless he gets an offer he can't refuse.

I don't want to see Mike Gonzalez in a Braves uniform next year. Too may of these "" moments

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Signing Scott Proctor was a good move, IMO.

I hope we can get the foreign pitcher Chapman though.

Yep, although I would be fine with him on the cheap and only if it was a requirement that he pitch from the stretch or get rid of his windup and fall off the mound.

I also don't want to see Soriano closing everyday. The guy just can't do it all year. He needs some breaks.

We need to keep either Soriano or Gonzalez, and it looks like we will be keeping Gonzo. Both will most likely be Type A FA's and no one will be risking their draft pick for someone like Gonzo.

The team site states GM Wren is trying to move Lowe; if he can get anything in return (even like 5 Louisville Sluggers) I'll be happy.

I'd only do it if they pay for his contract. Oh wait no one wants to do that.

So far I've heard Atlanta interested in these players.

                  Soriano
                  Gonzalez
                  Wagner
                  Rodney
                  Miguel Cabrera
                  Dye
                  Marlon Byrd
                  LaRoche

We signed Wagner to a 1-year, $7M contract today. Rather quickly... and $7M is a little bit higher than what I would pay him, but the Braves I think did this so that they would be going into this offseason knowing that their closer spot is basically already filled.

As for Rafael Soriano, I think he is the better chance of the two (Gonzalez and him) to re-sign with us for a 1-year, $8M or $9M contract. After this signing, I'm not so sure, but I thought this before we signed Wagner because I think Soriano will wait until the next offseason where the FA class is a bit weaker in the relievers.

I hope Wren doesn't sign him as he has no power and no speed which is what we need - he's moreso a product of Arlington and their small ballpark.

Ok. Winter Meetings getting close. We all know a starting pitcher is getting dealt. Let's make some predictions... Which one and to where??

I'll start it off with a shot in the dark.

Vazquez to Baltimore (Here's hoping I'm wrong!!)

If Vazquez gives us Markakis, so be it.

Javy Vazquez to the Indians for Matt LaPorta, Jeremy Sowers.

Neither of those teams would want him. Neither of them are lcose to contending, they have no reason to deal for him
