I hope the Giants don't make a trade. I am starting to agree with you Remix. Keep what we got and see what we can do next year. Sandoval will be a 30 plus HR hitter soon too. Him and Posey should be a nice one two punch!

Playing the Brewers makes me want to poke my eyes out. We can't beat them. I believe this last loss makes the Giants 3-16 against the Brewers in the past 19 meetings.

Also to note.. Giants are 1-16 now in games started by Zito against the NL-central.

I guess it's about time that Wilson blows something. Inches away from game ending double plays.

Sanchez is being skipped and some dude named Ryan Sadowski is being called up to start for us. It's probably good that we don't let Lincecum go on normal day rest and save him for the Cardinals instead. Even Timmy gets bashed by the Brewcrew.

Schierholtz has shown he deserves the chance to start every day. If all goes to plan, Winn can be unloaded for something at the deadline or just let go of altogether next year.

It seems the whole solution to beating the Brewers was.. a minor league pitcher. Nice job by Sadowski. Wonder if that merits him for another start and if that means Sanchez is going to be out of bullpen for the time being.. I think it'd be a good call.

Chalk it up to not seeing him. But hey you have to give him some credit. Nate needs to play more. He can be something special. He has great power. Sandoval is freaking the best pure hitter we have had since Clark. Not including Bonds. Clark and Sandoval are home grown. Any ways if we could have won yesterday game we could only be out 6 games. but oh well. Hopefully Timmy can get a win tomorrow and Johnson can pitch good too. I like what I am seeing. Throw Posey in this line up next year and you might have a hell of a team.

Tough weekend series. Saturday hurt... I think B.W. was mad at Rags for not going full hawk.

Sadowski pitched well against a tough team. He even pitched through that horrible error. The kid showed some poise. But, lets see how he does once a scouting report builds on him and I honestly don't think he stays once Richie is back.

It was nice to see Sandoval and Shierholtz batting next to each other in the lineup. It's been a long time since we seen home grown talent in such an important spot in the order. I really don't think Shierholtz is ready for the cleanup yet though.

I am excited about tonight's game. Lincecum vs. Pujols.

Remix I hope you are right. I would like them to trade Winn now. I still would like a solid bat, but is Ish keep doing what he is doing. He might be a 30 HR a year guy. He can rake ball.

This was the most fun game I've watched all season, especially seeing that rookie reliever for the Cardinals get lit up.

Wow, Lincecum is a beast! Complete game shut out with no walks under 100 pitches. Let's not forget he struck out 8 (including Pujols) and only gave up two hits (... including Pujols). He even made a great defensive gem and had a single!

                What a game!

And the one hit was a bloop single too. A.P. crushed his hit though. But that was a real dominating performance by Tim.

I was giving Lincecum and the Giants a standing O at the bar! That was a dominating performance pitching and hitting wise. 10 runs with 12 hits, great production tonight. I liked the lineup with Shierholtz in the 5 hole.

The first at bat versus A.P. was awesome, but he ripped the ball twice after.

Johnson vs. Carpenter should be fun. Let's see how our bats fair against their Ace.

Giants scout was at the Indians game looking at Victor Martinez.

Oh boy, here we go guys.

I will be happy with him. I wanted Dye tough, but I will be happy with him. He is a great hitter.

NO to both unless it means we ship off a vet ourself. Giants have already put up 6 against Carpenter. Hopefully when I come back home, it'll be a win.

as much as i'd love to see the giants make the playoffs i don't want to see them trading any future stars for middle aged stop gap players.

I still say Dye or Cantu. I would always like to fish for a guy like Derrek Lee, but he comes at a high price.

What is Shea Hillenbrand doing these days? Not saying I want him (though I wanted them to keep him when they had him), but I hadn't heard his name yet this year. Is he still playing?
