    Re: 2009 San Francisco Giants

I'd actually be more willing to trade Bum or Alderson instead of Cain. Cain has figured it out and is going to be a force in the League for a while.

With Bum and Alderson it's still unclear of what happens once they get higher in the Minors or when they hit the Majors. Even though I really wouldn't want to trade either of them, if the right deal comes along, I think we can.

I wouldn't include anyone else in the deals though. It's either, or. We have to keep our young bats.

    Oh yeah:
    Bumgarner
    CON (sf) AA (G)4 (W-L)4-0 (ERA)0.78 (IP)23 (H)15 (BB)6 (K)24 (SV)0 (WHIP)0.91

    Alderson
    CON (sf) AA (G)5 (W-L)2-1 (ERA)2.00 (IP)27 (H)24 (BB)1 (K)24 (SV)0 (WHIP)0.93

Not bad for AA. As it's said, AA is the first true test in Pro Baseball.

Those two kids are studs, but to get a stud bat you have to give up Cain.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking. When I first started typing it out I knew who I meant, but I guess I had Justin in my mind at the same time.

No matter, Andrew Miller is a good deal. Either that or we can get Glavine. Maybe Holliday?

Anyway, congrats Randy Johnson! He sure is a great guy to watch out there.

Congrats to Johnson, the bull pen finally holds a lead. Go game right now, Cain is the man this year. I was thinking I wonder if Wash would take Sanchez and Burris for Nick Johnson.

I bet with Ortiz's terribleness, the Sox will probably make a go for Nick Johnson.

well lewis is 0-4 again tonite vs florida. Bochy, sit his a** down on the bench or the minors for all i care but get him out of the lineup, he's killing us every night, at the bat and in the field. If we played schierholtz in the outfield (at least give him a chance) we gain an actual rightfielder with an arm and would have an excellent left fielder in winn as well.

I agree, or play Torres in CF and Aaron in LF. Nice win tonight, but Wilson is not a shut down closer. Which sucks big time, but he does get the job done most nights.

The one we hit like it was batting practice. Sure he was good for 3 innings, but then we got to him. We just couldn't get the big hit last night. Maybe today will be different with Timmy pitching.

Nice win today. Timmy was not on, but still dominated the game. I love that kid!

well he was damn good until that hr., 1 hit over 7 innings but not the usual k's. I think pitching in the high humidity after the rain delay also likely took a big toll on him, i was sweating just watching him pitch, lol.

                              ps: go wings go

I love how they are playing on the road so far. With Rowand hitting lead sparked something with the team. Although his hit streak had ended last night they're putting up some runs (except last night). They had a hard time figuring out the Marlins rookie Sean West. Let's see if they can take the series against Arizona tonight.
