On another note. Larry K was ripping the Giants hitters last night on his night show on KNBR. I am starting to not like that guy. Even though he is speaking truth. And how the hell does Ralph B have a radio show and #1 too. I can't stand that whinny little troll!

Zito is a second half pitcher, always has been stronger after the break. So the surprising first half had me hoping this would happen.

It was another good win tonight, too bad Zito didn't get the win. Hopefully Sanchez can return soon. We need the table setters, especially with Garko finding a groove.

Schierholtz has been great in late innings whether he may be starting or pinch hitting. Zito has been good since the break, maybe the best of the 3 actually. Hopefully Cain can rebound from his last time against the Reds. He probably won't have to deal with their best hitter in Votto so that should be good news for him. Pablo after some rest should do him some good.

Despite Garko's 0-for-3 earlier in this ball game, I never once would have considered substituting in Renteria for him with a runner on third. I think it would have been a nice time for him to try and cash in that run... again, despite his lack of success earlier in the game.

Or I would have rather seen Ishikawa, Lewis... somebody that has a better shot of reaching first base without a double play or something. Bochy fails yet again.

I think the Giants are like 4-16 in one run games on the road. Whiteside not being able to get the bunt down hurt. Why not pinch hit for him with Sanchez or something if it was going to be a sacrifice. Losing again with Cain on the mound = DISASTER.

This team is 2 bats away from being something special. They need a true #4 hitter and another good hitter. They should have try to get Dunn before the season started. If I was the Giants I would go after Holiday next year. Maybe you can work something out. I know he wants to play in Cali.
