This part is interesting.


Right-hander Waldis Joaquin, a fellow Dominican who played with Villalona at low-Class A Augusta last season, didn't address his former teammate's case specifically. But Joaquin pointed out that in his country, people occasionally shoot first and answer questions later if they're being hassled by a group.

I said this when Ishikawa drew the leadoff walk in the 8th...why did Bochy not pinch run for him with Torres or someone else...cuz when Rowand bunted he for sure would have scored when Ishikawa did not. Especially with September rosters...plenty of bench guys...this is one of the reasons why the Giants are not in the playoffs...horrible decision making.

Lewis's speed made up for that bad decision though.

giantking this is bruce bochy were talking about nearly 150 lineup changes in season he should be fired how u keep rowand in line after torres had two bombs on dodgers yesterday

right or wrong i'm guessing his reason for leaving iishikawa in the game was for his defense, it was a tie game only.

Congrats on a great season Giants. You did a great job this year. And to the pitching staff I hope they get a true power bat for you guys next year. It was a very fun year!

My thoughts exactly. It was a great year regardless. I was excited for a playoff push, but I still think we put our cards on the table too soon. We gave up two prospects for trades that didn't make a difference this year. As much as I like Sanchez we could have possibly got him for less next year. But that deal is done.

As for next year we need a bat. It will be interesting to see what happens to Molina. It would be easier to judge if Bochy actually lets Posey play a little.

Now the quesiton is Sanchez option worth picking up since he has a tear in his knee. I was all for bringing him back until this last injury and now i'm not sure if it's worth it.

Yeah I don't get it! Put freakin Posey in there and lets see how he responds. He did throw a runner out later in the game!

i'm hoping we'll see posey do some catching now that their out of contention. i highly doubt we'll see posey catching next year, i think he likely needs a full year at AAA first, then again who knows. as far as getting a big bat in the off season i think we really need at least two, is that even possible??
