Re: 2010 Pirates
To all my fellow Pirate fans out there. How do you see the lineup this year? I see at as follows with small explanations of why i think it should be this way.
1. Andrew McCutchen CF (Speed. Good lead off hitter.)
2. Jose Tabata LF (Speed. Proved he can be good 2nd hitter)
3. Neil Walker 2B (Good Hitter. Little Power. Again proved his worth as a good 3rd hitter.
4. Pedro Alvarez 3B (Power. Jones can't hit here. I expect a break out year for him.)
5. Garrett Jones RF (About 20 Homers, 80-90 RBIS can be expected. Not bad for a Pirate.)
6. Lyle Overbay 1B (He has got to bat somewhere and in my opinion the guys that will follow him are even worse.)
7. Chris Snyder C (If he is going to be the starting catcher. I guess I'd put him here.)
8. Ronny Cedeno SS (I honestly can't stand the guy, but the Pirates say he's the starter so hes got to bat here. And if he is going to bat, I guess I find him to be a decent 8th hitter.)
