Tanaka with 10 more K's, lowering his ERA to 1.99 in the process. Betances throwing gas for two innings and Robertson to close. So sweet.

I'm getting really tired of watching Brian McCann though. I've probably mentioned this many times but I would give anything to get Russell Martin back. With the exception of Andy Pettitte bolting for the Astros in the early 2000s, I don't remember feeling such regret over losing a player like I do with Russell the Muscle.

McCann is pressing to do too much in my opinion. I always loved how he played for Atlanta, the bat will come around man, just give it time. Tanaka & Betances are fun to watch pitch

        I must've lit a fire under his butt...haha.

Time to start complaining about Beltran now.

          Get the shovel ready.

          CC IS SHOT.

Yankees run the risk of getting 10 wins out of Tanaka through most of 2016 if they wait on surgery much longer.

          Pineda looks very good.
          Hopefully Nova comes back.
McCarthy looks like a decent 4.

          Bullpen looks real solid.

Pardo and Headley look like decent pickups for a couple of years.

Cervelli and McCann need to split duties behind the plate. Tex and McCann need to split games at 1st.

ARod should fit right in with this bunch of overpaid underachieving over the hill players.

I think all things considered Girardi did a pretty good job this year.

          Bring Stick back.

While the Reds are my favorite team, the Yankee's have always been my 2nd favorite, because my Dad was a Yankee fan. Not sure how he was because both sides of the family have always been Reds fans, but he was a diehard Yanks fan, so they have always been my AL team and my 2nd favorite team.

Might be others that have been more talented than Jeter to play the game but their hasnt ever been anyone classier both on and off the field as Jeter.

Truly 1 of the all time greats both on as well as off the field to ever play the game.

Its been fun to watch for the last 20 years and Im sad its drawing to a end. Thanks Jeter for all the great memories!
