Started with a deep sweep. Didn't see that happening.

This team is soooooo much more enjoyable to watch than last year's strikeout fest.

On pace for 162-0. I'll be there for the home opener. Please keep it up Bravos.

I was walking the dog and thinking we'll hit either 75 or 77 straight wins before the first loss of the year. Game 76 is guaranteed, but 75 and 77 are where my money is for loss #1 in 2015.

On pace to shatter the MLB regular season win total. I like it!

On a serious note, one encouraging thing to me was I really didn't think the starting pitching was that great from the Braves this series. Julio couldn't put guys away, and Wood tried to nibble at the corners too much with a 7 run lead. Miller also struggled with a put away pitch when he had guys in a hole. Despite them not seeming to have their best stuff the starters gave up just 3 runs in 16 innings.

I'm finding Jace Peterson to be an easy guy to root for. He didn't come up with a lot of base hits this series, but he hit it hard most times up. He played some pretty solid defense, and he really hustles.

Not impressed with my boy Miller out of the Gates, can't complain as 1, we got the W and 2 he threw 5 scoreless but 4H and 2BB in 5 innings isn't exactly what I was hoping to see. Hoping he gets his form back as the year goes on.

Well I'm heading down to Atlanta today and will be there tonight and tomorrow night to watch them. Hopefully a 5-0 start is in the books. That'd make the weekend perfect.

That's awesome. I've never been to an Opening Day game before, it's on the list to do.

I do have tickets to see the Mississippi Braves play in Pensacola next month, then tickets to two games in SF in May when the Braves are there, then tickets for a game against the Mets at home in June, and another home game in August against the D'backs. So I'm happy to get to see them a few times this year.

4 hits and 2 walks and no runs through 5 is disappointing to you? That's a 1.20 whip. That's not ace status, but only 33 guys did better than that last year; if he has a 1.20 whip at the end of the year (which would be a career best), I'll be thrilled.

You can try to spin it with the numbers however you want, and this is a case where the numbers don't always tell the whole story. If he gives up 4 hits and 2 walks over 5 inning all year, he will finish the season with a sub .500 record and torch our bullpen in the process. So yeah I don't care what his WHIP is when he's only going 5 every start.

And to be fair, he had Ace stuff before he got hurt. Not superstar stuff ie Harvey or Strasburg, but legit #1 starter Ace stuff. That's the Miller I'm hoping we end up with, so by those expectations, yes it is disappointing to see he's leaning more towards post injury then pre injury.

Dude, starters almost always get pulled earlier in April than later in the year. They aren't all stretched out yet.

Ended up getting a foul ball from David Murphy. I didn't catch it directly. It hit someone and bounced off of them 25ish feet to me. First time ever getting one.

This team looks like it enjoys playing together and just looks better than the last few years teams all around.

It feels like the roster is more geared to get match ups on both sides all through out the game and it seems to me that Freddi is making more moves than I remember him making the last couple years.

It's still early, and I'm pleasantly surprised by their performance, but seeing them in person made me believe this is something they could keep up all year. Everyone looks comfortable at the plate knowing they don't have to knock it 450 feet to have a shot at winning.

Chris Johnson definitely looks a lot better. He may not bat .330 this year, but I honestly won't be surprised one bit if he is .300 all year.

Miller's stuff the other day looked good, but he got pulled in the 5th because he couldn't get guys out early. He had so many guys down 0-2 and 1-2, but he was just missing something to put them away which drove up both his pitch count and his high effort pitches. The stat line was good, but you can't expect to pitch that way all season and continue with it. I'm not worried though. His fastball was good, and he had good bite on his pitches. First start of the season so I'm sure he will get more sharp as the season goes on.

For the small sample size I am loving it. Whatever this team does this year, I love the speed/contact type play we have seen so far. It's fun to watch.
