      I believe it's just a bruised knee...nothing too serious.

Yeah, he'll be good to go Tuesday...the Yankees/Angels series will be GREAT I think. I wish I had the funds to make it out to a game, though.

Ah, it feels so damn good. As much as this team has gone through with injuries and a horrid bullpen, and still win.

Congrats to deeman, Jets, Kasanova, Smokey, ehh, etc....Man hugs all around!

Actually, you might want to amend that to co-champions. For purposes of playoff seeding, you're the American League East representative, however based on the results of the 162 game season, you did not finish ahead of the Red Sox. Therefore, the only way that the Yankees are sole owners of American League East champions is by a minor technicality in playoff seeding.

Looks like the Yanks won't have home field advantage.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Eh, does it really matter? They're playing a team that has a drastically different time zone, and they also have won 14 out of their last 16. The Red Sox get to face the White Sox, who aren't nearly the same team they were in the first half of the season. While the title of the the AL East Champions would've been nice, I rather face the White Sox than the Angels.

I don't mind going out to Anaheim to start it out. If we win, that would make it all the more sweeter.

No matter what or where you play, you gotta win. Simple as that.

I'm just glad the White Sox come into the playoffs went plenty of mo.

Whats the Yankees overall record vs. the Angels this year? I think the Angels handled them pretty well this year, but I'm not sure.

Can't blame it all on Arod.

If Crosby and Sheff don't collide, it may not have even come to Arod.

Oh well...I still think it was a good season.

.133 0 HRs 0 RBI and a crucial error that cost us game 2... from our supposed "mvp" .... yea dont blame AROD.

I didn't say don't blame him. I said don't blame it all on him. He wasn't the only one that fell short throughout the series.

Hm. Think that Bernie missing the hit-and-run signal with Cano on base was crucial?
