Nice win today.... Leiter pitched excellent coming off 2 bad starts and the offense was great.
Jeter continues to light it up going 3-4 and raising his BA to .313.

Good series Yanks. Hopefully we take the series when we go to the Stadium in 2 weeks or so.
We really could've taken today's game if we had had mounted any type of offense when we loaded the bases twice during the game.Comment

Good 3-2 win against the White Sox. Well played game by both teams but Moose outdueled El Duque who I was thrilled to see back at the Stadium again... even if it was for another team.
Mo was automatic again as he nails down his 30th save.

Glad to see Sturtze and Gordon get solid outings as well.
Of course, Texas can't knock off Boston. Hopefully Detroit can help out though.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Yeah El Dudque was the man. He was easy to like on the moudn to with his leg kick and cool demeanor but I heard in the clubhouse he was continually PMSing and it pissed everyone else off.
Anyways... I'm glad Karsay decided to seek revenge on the Yanks by serving up the go ahead HR to the Sox last night.

Eh, A-Rod is a professional athlete, and a very good one at that. He could have easily gotten outta the way if he wanted to. As we have said in the past, "Jeter woulda gotten outta the way."
On another note, Mike & The Mad Dogg are promoting Mo to win the AL Cy Young Award right now. He hasn't blown a save since early April, has an ERA a full run lower than anyone else in the AL and has the lowest regular season ERA on the road in history. Pretty damn impressive, as many people have said this is the best stretch of regular season ball that Rivera has ever thrown."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
