Is it true that during yesterday's telecast, Kay spent about 10 minutes ranting about Juan Rivera(who was playing for the Angels) stealing Jeter's glove when he was a Yankee. They then later realized that it was Ruben Rivera that stole the glove not Juan.

Re: Official New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures Team Thread
While looking through some of the team forums on MLB.com (something I'm never doing again), I stumbled upon this brilliant post by one of the most ignorant people to have ever posted a message.
Luckily, here on OS we have intelligent Sox fans (as well as the majority of baseball fans here) who don't share the same ideas as this clown.
By the way, not trying to start any trouble (which I wouldn't expect anyways as everyone in the baseball forum here are mostly civil and respectful to one another) but I thought it was a humorous read on a night where we have no game to watch.
I can't understand how one person could condone violence towards someone who roots for a team that they dislike. Baseball is just a gae... its not bigger than life itself and it should never be a cause for violence... especially by people who are just "fans" and don't play themselves.

"I had to leave work last week to go to Boys& Girls club to pick up my 6yr old daughter because she was hitting a boy who wore a Yankee hat. They were going to forbid her return for the summer, but the director is a friend of mine, so I met with him and convinced him the boy instigated it. He was, after all, wearing the hat."

Ugh, Boston fans like that are exactly why I was pulling my hair out the last 4 years while I went to college up there. It was friggen brutal."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

My favorite part was when he said:
My daughter now understands the importance of maintaining a high level of behavior towards others, Yankee fans or not, because we owe it to ourselves to be BETTER THAN THEY ARE!!! That really transends baseball,,,it is a principle of being a quality human being.
I hate morons who make sports into something bigger than life itself. The team you root for doesn't dictate who you are... this guy has some serious issues.

Nice early 2-0 lead for the Unit, hopefully he'll give us a great outing tonight.

Hell of a game by RJ tonight, 6 IP, 1 Hit, 9 Ks.
Had a perfect game through 5.2 IP.
Hopefully the Yankees can get a few more runs on the board.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

On the radio, they mentioned Brown's career as a Yankee may be done with this injury and the Yanks are looking at....
no joke...
ready?
Hideo Nomo
I'm sure a guy that wasn't able to keep a roster spot on the D-Rays will be a beautiful addition for the Yanks.
