Wow, just one post from last night's game. Against the AL's best team? We are starting to slack with this thread boys, c'mon we gotta pick it up!!

That was a bit of a heartbreaker last night, after Embree's HR you knew we were gonna get one run in the 9th. Georgie was mad as hell after the game at Torre, questioning why the lefty was left in to face Konerko.

Embree is still on the Sox payroll.

I've been saying that since the day we signed him. Plus we now have Karsay who just wants revenge on us while pitching for Texas.

Ugh, they just said on YES that Pavano got the results from Dr. Andrews and he has rotator cuff tendinitis and is out for at least six more weeks, possibly the season.

Even if we manage to squeeze into the post season, I can't imagine us making it out of the LDS.

And Posada proves once again he's one of the worst defensive catchers in the game.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU NOT BLOCK THE PLATE ON THAT!?!?!?!?!

Damn, heartbreaker to lose two close games like that in the 10th, back to back nights.

That has to be one of the lowest scoring series I've seen in a long time...

                  29 innings
                  White Sox runs - 6
                  Yankees runs - 5

That series was a complete pleasure to watch. Probably the best series this year in all of baseball.

The playoff like atmosphere last night was simply awesome. You guys are used to that. Us Sox fans aren't.

I'm glad Texas could help us out tonight.

Maybe they'll decide to keep the Sox somewhere under 20 runs tonight....

I was able to catch two of the Yanks/ChiSox games, the first and last. Great series, it's gonna be another great when they come into Boston.

Rivera gets out of it. He is the only one in this bullpen who can get it done now. He's going to be dead by late September.

Thank God for the win...despite the bullpen falling apart AGAIN.

Another slugfest tonight with 2 bad pitching performances so far. Yankees take a 6-5 lead in the 4th with one of the most rediculous HRs Jeter has ever hit: Opposite field into the upper deck.

Jeter has been on fire lately.

Jeter has been hot on offense, but hasn't been so good on defense this year.
