I couldn't believe they called the Red Sox game yesterday.

They're luck is unblievable... this is them same team who was winning like 10-0 in a blowout earlier this year when it started downpouring in the 4th inning and the umpls let them play until the 5th when they called it.

Damn Boston homerific umps.

They waited 4 hours on a travel day. We had non stop t-storms all night. The umps did everything they could to get that game in. We would've come back anyways.

As far as Gomes being hit 3 times, that ties a major league record.

Good W last night. I'm glad we didn't lose our third game of the year to Chris Kattan.

Mo had me a little nervous in the 9th after this weekend but got out of it. Also I was happy when Sheff finally put a HR fair, it seemed like he hit 4 or 5 balls off Fossum that were 430 foot foul balls.

And A-Rod continues to be on fire offensively and defensively. Although I still don't like the guy I can finally see that he's the best player in the game today.

Ahh but he caved for far less than that.

We're facing Bonderman tomorrow. Wells is going for the Sox. We also face Colon and Lackey in the first 2 games of the Anaheim series. This is the Yankees chance to make up ground. Although, with the Red Sox it doesn't really matter who they face, it's more when they decide to hit. They spanked Rogers, Buehrle and Garland in 3 consecutive games, but can just as easily get shut down by some no name.
