I think you guys are arguing different things.

The original point was that Rivera converted 30 straight saves, which he did. (actually 31)

I think Vtek's point was that he blew one before the TB game, which he did.

I'm saying you're wrong. Your post implies he has 30 saves in a row. If that's not what you meant you should try and type more clear.

Right, and the streak stopped a week ago.

And therefore, you wouldn't bring up a past streak a week later when it's irrelavant to the discussion.

He's not talking about the same thing as us. There was a slight misscommunication... we were referring to the fact that Rivera had saved 31 straight games.... while he was arguing that a save had been blown before the TB game that ended the streak.

Thats all... not a big deal.

You know with all the crap Steinbrenner gives Torre and Cashman... and all of the backstabbing between the 2 camps in NY and Tampa.... I can;t wait for the book Torre better write after he retires telling all of the secrets about the relationship between the 2 camps.

I wanna know the exact details behind facts like how Billy Connors snitches to the Boss about what Torre and Stottylmeyer are planning and the free agents signings the Tampa camp does without informing Cashman of it.

In the other thread I wrote a long list of bad pitching moves Cashman has made... but there were a lot of other bad moves that Cashman didn't even know about until after they were done because Boss sent his boys out to do it without Cashman knowing. Singings like Womack and Lofton and insisting he sign Sheffield are examples of this. Idk I find it all very fascinating how we're the only team whose front office isnt even on the same side. (with the exception of the Atlanta Hawks of course) and I'd really like to know what really goes on between the two parties.

                        Who cares?

                        Mariano Rivera is really good.

                        Discussion over.

As a starter... yes. As a closer..... not yet.

Anyways... Moose is really dealing tonight. His pitches are dancing all over the place. Hopefully he'll keep this up.
