All of that talk of Rivera for Cy Young (and MVP) has really died down over the past few weeks...
Although Buehrle and Garland aren't strenghthening their cases any. This year's AL Cy Young award winner may be the least deserving one in a long while.Comment

Great win. Good pitching from Leiter, and huge hits by Bernie, Matsui, and Escalona.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Official New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures Team Thread
Rivera wont win Cy Young, as a closer you basically need to be perfect all year to win it, and Rivera had the real bad start and has been shaky lately. Dont look now but Santana is speeding up quickly and has a good chance to win Cy Young once again, he's begun his end of the year tear that he always goes on and due to the crappy play of Buehrle and Garland lately he has a good chance of taking it.Comment

Re: Official New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures Team Thread
After Mo's last 7 appearances he has as much of a chance as Kevin Brown of winning the Cy Young.
I was really hoping he'd get one during his career. This was prolly his last chance."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
