According to foxpsorts.com, the Yankees will sign former Red Sox second baseman Mark Bellhorn after he clears waivers tomorrow at 1 pm. I wonder if he'll be booed or cheered in his Fenway return in September? He should be cheered. And now the Red Sox and Yankees have swapped two players who hit game winning homeruns for them in the ALCS last year, John Olerud being the other player.

Originally posted by deeman11747I wouldn't trust him any more than Wayen Franklin or Sctt Proctor. The guy was a high ceiling prospect we had that never panned out. He didn'y have the stamina to be a starter but he doesn't have the velocity to be a reliever. He's a tweener.
I hope he gets called up on Sept 1 so we can see what he can do though. He may be a pleasant surprise.Comment

Good news Yankees Fans:
Mark Bellhorn will be in pinstripes within a day or so I believe. Atleast that is what Ken Rosenthal is reporting.
Really sad to see that. Coupled with extremely nervous now. I can just see this coming back to bite us.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. Lawton with his first homer in pinstripes baby!!!!!
7-4 Yankees...looking like another day as Wild Card leaders, and still only 1.5 back of Boston unless the Yankees have a major meltdown in the 8th/9th.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Nice win last night, good to see the O pick up Moose after a rough start. He seemed friggen iritable as hell all night.
This pennant race is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory in the AL. So many teams going down to the wire, it's hard to belieive that one out of the Yanks, Red Sox, A's and Angels won't be making the postseason. Yea, yet the Padres make the playoffs, or at the very worst scenario the D'Backs. it is a traveshamockery.
Here's to a great race though guys, hopefully Bellhorn keeps up his immense suckitude with you.Comment
