Didn't we all know this would eventually happen?

I said before the season started that I liked the pickup of Pavano, but not Johnson. I hope Pavano turns around and has a really good season. Nice shutout as well.

Nice way to have your winning streak snapped.. errors cause them to lose the lead and then you load the bases in the 9th for Giambi.. and he doesn't even swing

Hot damn, Arod already 2/2 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs.

4-0 in the 4th inning vs the Tigers.

              This is a slugfest.

Can you believe that A-Rod has homered 4 times in his first 4 at bats against Ledezma for his career. That is rediculous.

And his two tonight are to the opposite field, that's incredibly impressive.

Lets see if he can get his 2nd three-homer game of the season!

WOW....Ledezma will probably have nightmares about that stat right there.

Damn, 7-0 thanks to a Sheff two run shot.

I wish we could face Ledezma every day

A little beanball battle going on here.

Good to see Quantrill wants to protect our stars though. Although I do think he should've hit him in the thigh... not the back.. but his control seemed a little bad when he missed him the first time.

I didn't really think it was called for. Hitting Arod wasn't intentional. I do think Yankee pitchers should try and protect our hitters a little more often, but imo this time it was necessary.

Why is a story about A-Rod in therapy considered to be a MAJOR news story?

The Daily News seems to think so for some reason.

Maybe that was a clause in his contract when he signed with the Rangers, that carries over to the teams he goes to when they take on his contract. It is the Daily News after all, a celebrity farting is a front page news story, but man, the News really is treating this as a monster story if it's front page worthy.

The Daily News isn't really the best of newspapers... so just ignore it.

I only get the News for it's decent coverage and fairly good comics section(compared to the Post anyway). The Post is a lot worse, overall, than the News is.

Now.. if the Times had a comic section, I'd be all over that
