He walks. Let's go Borowoski, I feel confident TB can grab a run off Mo tonight.

Lugo sucked it up tonight. 2.5 games still though, thanks to Wells and Papi.

I feel very confident about this game, with Small on the mound. As long as the Yankees can drive in atleast 4 to 5 runs, I call for a win. If they struggle and only get 1 or 2 runs, the Yankees may lose this one thanks to the relief pitching. Hopefully Oakland and Seattle can help out in the process tonight.

          Yankees (Small; 7-0)

          1. Derek Jeter, SS
          2. Alex Rodriguez, 3B
          3. Jason Giambi, 1B
          4. Gary Sheffield, DH
          5. Hideki Matsui, LF
          6. Bernie Williams, CF
          7. Jorge Posada, C
          8. Robinson Cano, 2B
          9. Bubba Crosby, RF
          Devil Rays (McClung, 6-9)
          1. Julio Lugo, SS
          2. Carl Crawford, LF
          3. Jonny Gomes, DH
          4. Aubrey Huff, RF
          5. Damon Hollins, CF
          6. Travis Lee, 1B
          7. Alex S. Gonzalez, 3B
          8. Toby Hall, C
          9. Nick Green, 2B

Well, at least we're 2-0 since A-Rod's moved to the #2 hole. Hopefully that'll continue.

Hall two run double makes it 2-0 Rays.

Oh well, Small gave up 3 in his last start to the Sox and was fine. Just gotta get the Yanks bats hot now.

Huge RBI single by Crosby, then wild pitch to move him into scoring position.

Come on Arod, bring him in!

Jeter fails to get the job done yet again. But I guess he gets a reprive after his clutch hit last night.

                      *sigh*

Such a shame to lay eggs offensively when Small pitches so well.

                            CANO!

                            First 15 Bases Loaded ABs - 1 of 15
Last 2 Bases Loaded ABs - 2 of 2, single, homer, 6 RBIs

Oh my God, that was amazing. Jeter now to 2nd, still just 1 out.

What a shot of McClung. Aaron Small should be so damn thankful right now. Oh man, what a great inning.

I really really hope that not driving in anymore runs with the bases loaded doesn't come back to haunt us. Great 6th inning regardless.
