it just stinks that things fell into place for the Yankees at the start of this week. Everyone else in the playoff hunt gets to play each other while the Yankees play teams that don't have much to live for.
I really can't believe WFAN and the callers were saying the Yankees will fade and not get a playoff spot, when things are there for the taking. They would've needed to have some pretty big screwups not to be there for the last series against the Sox. You just know the teams that are out of it will play hard against any team in contention for any team except the Yankees.Comment

They're not, the only way you can tell they're doomed is if they're losing huge with two outs in the ninth and John Flaherty hits a foul popup behind the third base line, in play of course.

I really didn't want to see Gordon in this game, because I don't want his arm being worn out when we might really need him.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment

Just ****ing great...11-8 now. Man on 2nd, no outs.
So its pretty much a definitely Gordon will be in the 8th, and Rivera in the 9th.Originally posted by CardsFan27This is the 3rd time John Calipari has been to his first Final Four! What I'm Currently Listening ToComment
