I know this is kind of late, but to the person talking about how good the Yankees look...

Didn't they look amazing up 3-0 in October and the Sox only had 4 games to beat them...They have 160 games left to overcome them...i still like their chances.

Is it just me, or was watching Rivera react the way he did to Varitek's homerun just as good as a win? It just showed how the Red Sox are in his head big time, though I would have taken a win over it, but it is early and I'm not too concerned.

I just heard on WEEI that Terry Francona was just rushed to the hospital with chest pains. They think he had a heart attack ?!?!

They just had Theo on. Francona was taken to the hospital with "tightness in his chest." Bench coach Brad Mills is managing the team today.

Wow seems like things have started very badly for the Sox.

My thoughts are with Francona and hopefully he'll recover sooner rather than later.

Funny how after breaking the curse things seem to be going downhill quickly.

I'm listening to his interview on WEEI that was recorded earlier. He doesn't sound well at all. Apparently he was taken to the hospital immediately after.

              Also, there was no curse!!

Man, Renteria can't get a break. Lines into a double play for his 4th of year.

Yeah, he should thank the schedule makers that he has a chance to slightly redeem himself in Toronto before heading to Fenway.

I know it's really early in the year but it looks like Renteria might be one of those guys who can't hit for beans in the AL. Trust me i've seen some of those types in Toronto.

Put him in Fenway Park and that will change. My 80 year old Grandfather could hit 40 doubles in Fenway.

it's not a matter of hitting AL pitchers

It's a matter of him being puke against righties

Wow Millar just came out of the game with a knee injury. The announcers said it looked like he was really hurting. That would be a huge loss.
