Worst. Game. Ever.
Nixon and Clement both down with what look to be serious injuries.
Nixon - looked to be lower left back strain type injury. Just speculation here, no proof, but looked to be similar to what kept him out for most of 2004. Obviously, this is not as serious as he left on his power.
Clement - drilled on the right side of his head (appeared to be his ear) on a liner by Carl Crawford. No response on the field. Stretcher brought out, and carried him away. No motion from Clement, aside from me noticing he was breathing.Comment

Wow...I'm not even worrying about how big of a blow that is to the Sox, I'm more worried about whether or not that guy is going to be alright. He didn't move for a good 5-10 minutes, just his hands every now and then, and was carted off, with a neck brace on, strapped to a stretcher.Comment

Well this day started out terrible with Trot hurting and then Matty getting nailed in the head...I was worried he might be dead for a second or two...but Manny Delcarmen looked absolutely fantastic tonight, and the Sox have a shot at this game now.
P.S. Sveum needs to be let go, that was terrible.Comment
