LOL at "Mr Excitement." Well Beckett on the hill tonight in Coors. Will he get lit up as some great pitchers do or sit the happless Rockies down in short order? Let's hope for the former instead of the ladder.

Rox get up 3-0 and we storm back for 9 unanswered runs. Winning going away 9-3. Beckett even helped himself out hitting a double. Good win all around. Now maybe Al can finally get a win tonight.

After the way he pitched in his last start, who knows. Didn't he get shelled by the Mets last week?

Yup. The Mets have beat him up pretty bad in his 2 starts against them.

Nice. At least they shouldn't get that DH snowed out. The Fish might be rusty heading into this weekend.

6-4 over the hapless Phillies. What else is new? Juan E went off with another 2 run homer, and AJ struck out 8 in 7 innings. All in a days work boys!!!

Any idea what the Marlins plans for AJ Burnett are? He's a FA after this season right? I sure would love to see him in a Red Sox uniform next year.

We want to resign him to a long term deal, but of course like Carl he might go out and see what he's worth. Howeva!!! I think Jeff is going to keep opening his checkbook to keep our pitching staff around. Heck he busted the bank for Delgotit!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn right. We've gotta keep this pitching staff intact for the next few seasons. Burnett got one up to 102 mph tonight against Abreu (which he happen to hit for a single ).

Short 6 inning game called because of rain. Got a 2-1 W. So D-Train wins his 5th in a row and technically another complete game. We just flat out own the Phills.

Tough 8-6 loss last night. Beckett got rocked for 5 runs in 2 innings. Fought back, but the deficit was too much to overcome. Oh well on to the Braves. **** Al is pitching tonight!
